Hey there! Oh that’s cool…if they weren’t already married I’d definitely be interested!

Some of my time in Arkansas :: Memphis, TN & DeSoto County Photographer

So after I left Oklahoma, I drove to Northwestern Arkansas to meet up with a photographer friend, Laney. The first day there, I did some exploring in Rogers, AR and here are the photos from that!

First off was to find a coffeeshop. I found one in downtown Rogers called Iron Horse and stopped there.

Then I saw their farmer’s market so I had to stop… I took quite a few photos of the FM goodness…

A lady was spinning yarn! I asked her if she minded me taking a photo and she did not! I talked to her and her husband for a few minutes and they were super sweet!

Really cool wheel – she said it was antique.

Just a cool buliding near the Farmer’s Market

This sweet lady is the owner of the Trolley Bookstore. I was looking in the windows next door because there was a really fun looking photographer studio and she asked me if I wanted one of their business cards. I saw that bench as I was leaving and had to get a photo of her on it!

Various downtown Rogers scenery…

Oh yeah, it’s a Waffle Hut and oh yes, I did eat there! I grew up going to WaffleHouse so I couldn’t resist!

This was taken on my last day there…pretty daisy!

Stay tuned for the a big blog post of Laney & her hubby + some individual shots too!

MUSIC MONDAY :: Memphis, TN & DeSoto County Photographer

I had a really hard time with today’s pick..not sure why. I think I’m craving some new music and I have been too busy to go seek some out.

So these guys are not new but they will be playing in Memphis soon so I thought I’d post a song by them that I love… so here ya go!

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros

I love how they look like they are having the time of their life when they play!
